Long Island Republican Congressman Peter King was back at it again today, suggesting that the President Barack Obama isn’t “as upset as he should be,” about the continued outpour of WikiLeaks documents. The reason? Because the president is a socialist, it seems. According to King, Obama’s “political upbringing” renders him ideologically incapable of taking “action against someone who is the logical descendent” of Daniel Ellsburg.
More reason to restate my questio from an earlier post: What's more dangerous to American democracy: WikiLeaks, or an American congressman demanding that the president man-up and start whacking whistelblowers, whoever--or wherever--they may be?
